Where and when will the 2022 EuroBasket take place?
The 2022 EuroBasket will start on September 1 and will be held in four countries at the same time: Georgia, Czech Republic, Germany and Italy. 24 teams will be divided into 4 groups and will compete for the European title. The first 4 teams of each group will qualify for the play-offs and the final will be held on September 18 in Berlin, at 8:30 pm!
The draw of the 4 groups:
The 4 groups will be composed of 6 teams.
Group A will play its matches in Georgia, in Tbilisi, group B in Germany in Cologne, group C in Italy in Milan and finally the teams of group D will face each other in Czech Republic in Prague.
The 4 best of each group will be qualified for the 1/8 finals which will take place in Berlin.

Slovenia:
European champion in the last Euro, Slovenia will have a status to hold during this Euro. Despite not qualifying for the last World Cup, the Slovenians will be to watch during this Euro!
During the qualifications, they finished second in their group, with two defeats.
Spain:
World champion, Spain is the big favorite of the tournament. During the qualifications, the Spanish did not play at their best and finished “only” second in their group.
France:
With only Euro title to their credit, “les Bleus” do not have the most experienced team, but they can count on their golden youth. With a final at the last Olympic Games in Tokyo, experience is being gained little by little.
During the qualifications, France arrived at the top of its group!
Serbia:
8 times winners of the Euro, it will obviously be necessary to count on the Serbians during this 2022 EuroBasket. Finalists in the last edition, the team coached by Svetislav Pešić will try to do better!
